OK, let's say in the future there's a civil war, and the country is split up into many smaller ones. This is a map:



The rulers of the new nations are:

Northwest - StevenNick
Southwest - Brambila
Midwest (all the red from Michigan to the Dakotas and Nebaraska) - BRTD
Indiana and Kentucky (ignore the fact that Kentucky borders Missouri with the same color) - bandit73
Southcentral (gray area from Texas to Missouri) - jmfcst
Southeast (red from Florida to Tennessee) - StatesRights
blue from Ohio to NC - Josh22
DC, Maryland and Delaware - RightWingNut
Pennsylvania and NJ - Keystone Phil
Northeast - migrendel

since there was just a civil war, it is VERY unstable. So what happens now?

I figured he'd be more interesting. But let's say he gets annoyed you aren't taking enough action socially, so he has a coup.

I think a new war would break out in the middle of the nation.

The Kentucky/Tennessee border would be pretty bloody, border skirmishes between bandit and States' forces all the time. Same with the border between me and jmfcst. Me and bandit would probably ally...

Migrendel might give you some support. North NJ would be insanely militarized, so would NYC. Probably would have troops on every street corner.

Excellent...we'll meet up with his forces in Princeton.

Now almost surrounded by "Red" states, I expect an uprising against Phil in the streets of Philadelphia, leading the creation of the self-governing "Philadelphia commune" secretly run by a cabal of Boston brahmins.

Phil pleads for help from Josh's army, who responds by immediately seizing the four Western counties of Maryland in preparation for a siege on Baltimore.

Great Civil war

After the United States splits up, StevenNick and Brambia unite the West once again. They pull every man they have and start to march east to Better Dead Then Red's nation.

Better Dead Then Red hears about this, and takes action ASP. He gets his army together and starts to march west, to meet them. But what Steven and Brambia don't know is that Better Dead Then Red had a branch of his army head south to circle around behind them.

While this war is unfolds, Jmfcst and StatesRights set up meetings to try to join the South. They agreed to unite. Now the only thing left is to get Josh to join them. So they fly to Greensboro, NC, where Josh is running the show. When they got there, Josh meets then and welcomes them into his home.

For hours they talked about uniting, but Josh was to hard headed to join them. So Jmfcst and StatesRights left very angry at Josh.  

When they got back to Dallas, TX, the new capital of the South. They talk about how they are going to get Josh's nation. So they came up with the only thing they could think of, to go to war with Josh.

Pennsylvania and NJ become new nations and I'm the leader. Interesting. I'll admit my views would not be very favorable in most of Philadelphia however Northeast Philly would accept my views. My guess is that Philadelphia divides with NE Philly still part of the PA - NJ nation and the rest of Philadelphia independent.

I wonder what would happen if you captured him? execute him the same way Stalin executed rebels? that sounds more along the lines of StatesRights or Brambila though.

BRTD and the West's army meets up in Lincoln, NE.  The war starts, and a bloody and rough one it is.  For 3 hours it is none stop killing.  When BRTD 2nd half of the army comes in from the West. The west's army pulls out and heads towards MT and WY. BRTD see that he can take over them two states so he makes his move, and takes them states.

At the very same time, in Dallas. Jmfcst and States, gets their army ready for war. Josh still not knowing what is going to happen in the near future.

So he flies to PA and meets with Keystone Phil, in a hiding army bases, just made.  While there they makes plans to unite and attack Right wing nut. So they get an army together and head towards MD.

As soon as Right nut hears about this, he phones Mignedel and ask him for help. He agrees, and they make an army and set a base up in rural NY.  They plan to march south and attack from the North.

well if we're talking about rebels who knows. But I edited it because even if you would execute people I don't see using the Stalin method.

for the record he would hang them, but instead of a noose stick a hook in the back of their necks, which would usually take around 3 hours. Most of them were Nazi sympathizers though.
