Unteriberg would be socially conservative heartland, and Collonge-Bellerive is socially liberal heartland. Küsnacht loves neoliberalism (but also likes baby-killing libruhls), while Delémont loves socialism.
2007 election results + referendums of interest in these towns:
Collonge-Bellerive (Geneva): Liberal 30%, SVP 22%, CVP 15%, Green 10%, FDP 10%, PS 9%. 69% YES votes in the 2009 referendum on freedom of movement, 84% NO votes in the 2008 SVP-led naturalization referendum. Unteriberg (Schwyz): SVP 77%, CVP 10%, FDP 7%, PS 4%, Green 1%, EVP 1%. 87% NO votes in the 2009 referendum on freedom of movement, 84% YES votes in the 2008 SVP-led naturalization referendum. Küsnacht (Zurich): SVP 33%, FDP 30%, PS 12%, Green 7%, CVP 7%, Green Liberal 6%, EVP 2%, EDF 1%. 67% YES votes in the 2009 referendum on freedom of movement, 69% YES in the 2008 business tax reform referendum (the NO being supported by Greens, PS, EVP etc.) 59% NO votes in the 2008 SVP-led naturalization referendum. Delémont (Jura): PS 49%, CVP 15%, FDP 14%, SVP 12%, CSP (social liberal/Christian left) 11%. 77% YES votes in the 2009 referendum on freedom of movement, 61% NO in the 2008 business tax reform referendum (the NO being supported by Greens, PS, EVP etc.) 84% NO votes in the 2008 SVP-led naturalization referendum.
