I have a Florida Statewide precinct vote for president.  Some registration, ballots cast and precinct location is missing.  Would appreciate anyone's help in filling in the missing info.

Here is an interesting statistic, although just an estimate of information :

Florida : 3,533 precincts for Obama average vote : 726-369-10
3,384 precincts for McCain average vote : 505-807-14
Texas : 3,411 precincts for Obama average vote : 553-239-8
5,500 precincts for McCain average vote : 684-306-10

So that statistic shows that, in these states, Republican precincts cast slightly votes on average. Probably turnout (at least compared to total population) related - certainly that's the case in Maricopa County. Still surprising in the case of Texas. You'd expect very small rural precincts to nullify the effect.

In Texas, there are some huge suburban precincts, they seem to be nullifying those tiny ones.

Orlando.  I just got some information from Orange county and made an estimate for Orlando based on % of precinct.  Orland comes out slightly less than 2-1   for Obama
62438 - 31753 - 625.  This puts it in place #75.  I had not realized the extent it has grown.

I would guess that it's more growth-related. The largest precincts by population are ones that used to be very rural but have seen recent surges in development. Growth is so rapid that precinct boundaries have not yet been adjusted. In the South (and in most of the country, but particularly in the South), that means ultra-Republican areas.

Yes Orlando has grown very big. In fact too big! Many of the citizens there have moved to the northern suburbs in order avoid tourists which has resulted in a traffic congestion problem here. Orlando wasn't built for this many ppl. If it grew outward, then it would run into the ocean. Funny enough, the easiest part of Orlando to drive in is downtown.
