Atlantic has Atlantic City. Cumberland has Vineland, Glassboro, and Rowan University. wow apparently I dont know my own region. Glassboro and Rowan U are in neighboring Gloucester County, which was am Obama Trump Biden County.

For context: both are trending Republican. Menendez lost Atlantic in 2018 and just barely held Cumberland, while Clinton and Biden won both with much narrower margins than Obama.

At the presidential level, which county will vote GOP first and when?

I'd say Atlantic. Cumberland has a slightly higher black population.

Atlantic, look at the 2018 Senate race. Cumberland also is only 45% white, it's possible demographics stabilize Dems fall a bit.

I tend to agree with the above posters. When does everyone think Atlantic might go red?

I think it can go Republican as soon as 2028, even if Harris or another Dem does even better in NJ as a whole compared to 2020.
