That reminds me of a story - back in grad school I used to drive a taxi-cab in the evenings, and one time this obnoxious guy got in (with a group, mostly women), and sat right behind me.  Then, all the way home he kept saying 'look at this cabby, just look at him, you know he has a big dick.. you can tell cause he's so lazy - guys with big dicks just don't care about anything and don't give a , they never bother to get a real job', etc etc.  It was so strange, and I have to say dead on accurate and uncanny.

Well, we're middle-class, and we don't typically have to worry about money. Our family income (or my father's I should say ) is roughly $85k a year. However, Boulder county is very expensive due to the mountains and open space and such, so while monetarily we're upper middle-class, we're really just normal middle-class if cost of living is taken into account. I guess our house is very large, but we got unbelievably lucky and got it $100k less than it was worth because the people selling wanted to sell it fast. We do worry about my father being laid off though (he's a programmer working in IT at a telecom), though he seems to be valued by the company.

Though I can't say I'm truly well off because I have lots of psychological problems (no I'm not a psychopath , more like social anxiety and trust issues and such), really complicated ones that.

Really I'd rather be poor than have the latter problems though (by US standards of course).
