One more thing: I'd include Manuel Marín

Since my "bad" experience with the German Chancellors Survivor where I included Scheel, was criticized (rightly I think) for it and saw Scheel being eliminated only in the last third of the Survivor.... I'm very reluctant to include the interim guys.
Marin was really and only an interim guy (even if he may have done more things than Thorn !)

But Scheel acting for few days, while Marin served for half of the year

Sicco Mansholt

When Prodi eliminated before an unimportant person like Mansholt, or a former Nazi like Hallstein, then goes here something wrong.

The weird Dutch is out.

ROUND SEVEN IS OPEN

Vote away !

I really want to vote for Prodi (Im not judging on personal qualities or past -Hallstein would indeed have been eliminated early), but on real work as president of the EU Commission.
And, well, Prodi's action hasn't been very successful...
But I know Prodi won't be ousted even in next round.
Hallstein and Rey were efficient guys at the beginning of the process. Delors is Delors. These 3 deserve really to stay.

So, I vote for Roy Jenkins.

Jenkins

His work as President of the Commission was only average, you can't say he makes many mistakes, but really good things are very rare

Jenkins is unanimously eliminated.

ROUND EIGHT IS OPEN

Vote away !

I vote for Prodi.

Again, Hallstein and Rey were efficient in their job of building the EEC.
Delors is of course the best (we'll see Wink).
So, well, what has done Prodi, in a very concrete way ?

Yes, Delors was the best.

I don't want to eliminate a former Nazi and an author of one doctrine, because he was good President and I'm European Federalist (duh)

Prodi: ater all a mediocre.

Romano, it's time to go

Oh, thanks Smiley
But, really, if we just stick to the subject of this survivor and as Kal has just explained in a nutshell, Prodi was mediocre in this job (of course as Italian PM, he was far less bad than Silvio...).
