I support this bill, but there are a few amendments that should be added, such as allowing abortion in cases of incest or mother's life in danger.

Obviously I support this bill. Smiley

But I am willing to amend it if need be.

Though I am not a senator I just want to say that I oppose this based on regional rights grounds.

I wonder how the Regional Protection Party will feel about this one.

No, not under any circumstances, as disgusting as abortions are.

No. Plain and simply; no. There should be no 'flirting' with limiting abortion (and I feel there can be a case for that) without a complementary and full on pro-contraception and safe sex health drive.

You don't want me to write up a legislative report on this bill. Trust me, it does more harm than good to outlaw abortions.

I'm in a bit of a pickle on this bill. While I would personally favor a nationwide ban on abortion, it obviously isn't what a lot of my constituents want. Also, I fear that if we make this such a nationwide issue, the left could try and counter it by trying to make all of Atlasia pro-choice, destroying some regional laws that put restrictions on abortions.

I hereby open up the vote on the motion to table. Please vote Aye, Nay or Abstain.

Nay. I want the "rape and if the mother's life is in danger" added though.

Nay. While I am skeptical of the bill, and won't vote for it in it's current state, it should be discussed, and we possibly could come up with a compromise, like allowing regions to alter the bill if desired.

I encourage the Senators to vote nay on this motion and to take afleitch's comments to heart. If you work at it, a comprehensive abortion reform plan may be possible.

This will be vetoed if it passes, just for the Senate's information. The right of a woman to have full control over her body is incredibly important, and I won't stand for the Senate legislating that right away.
