Charlie Melancon (D): 33%

David Vitter (R): 46%

This statewide telephone survey of 500 Likely Voters in Louisiana was conducted by Rasmussen Reports October 5, 2009. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
