There are few people I hate. I reserve my loathing for people more deservant than Bush or Kerry.

Agreed.

I might dislike Kerry's policy but I'd never say I hate him.

I gather you think he hates America then. Tell me, why would you want to be in charge of something you hate.

Kerry hasn't given anyone a reason to hate him.  He has given them plenty of reasons to think: "oh god this guy would make a weak president", but none to think: "he is satan"

I can't say that I hate Kerry.  I hate some of his strongest supporters - Michael Moore, George Soros, Jesse Jackson, the NOW crowd, but I don't hate Kerry personally.

In a way, he is comical, much like President Bush but in a different way.  When he talks, he reminds me of Thurston Howell III from Gilligan's Island.  I don't like most of what he says, and I think that he's made some blatantly false and inflammatory claims.  I also think he has contorted himself into a pretzel in his positions on important issues, and that his claims of being consistent are laughable.

I don't.  Based on even posts about his military/homeland defense plans, I don't trust his judgment.  I watch the DNC and listened to the debates.  I have no idea of what Kerry wants to do regarding the NG/R or the expansion of the Regular Army.

Kerry fought for his country with honour and distinction, and on his return campaigned against the Vietnam War.

It was not un-American to oppose the Vietnam War.

I have stated my feelings towards the post-VN Kerry months ago, and nothing has changed.

Kerry in other times and places would be labelled a suspicious.  It seems appropriate here as well, since he will not permit his military records to be made public.  Strange, isn't it?  Especially when he demanded Bush make his public, which he did.  What is Kerry hiding?  Methinks he has something he doesn't want us to know because it would undermine his creditability to be President.  Open up the records, "war hero!?"

Kerry's military record is public.

Bush's has some serious gaps.

Actually, jfern, there is more of Bush's record out in public than Kerry's.  Kerry never signed a release form so the public could ask for the documents from the military.  Bush has.

I loathe Moore, Soros, and quite a few of Kerry's campaign staff, but I don't hate him. I am not even all that wooried about Kerry being prez, now Edwards VP is bad.  I can handle Cheney being a pretzel away
