Strongly disagree.  Look no further than the 80s with Reagan and Osama.

Strongly disagree. Just because a dog has four legs does not mean everything that has four legs is a dog.

Strongly disagree, altough I think this question should not be in the political compass.

Agree, even though this is really situational, I think it is usually true.

If this were at all true, Bush, Kerry, Hussein and Bin Laden would all be the best of friends. They're all their enemies' enemies.

Agree, although I tend to view anyone who isn't an enemy as an ally

Lewis Trondheim pretty much nailed it. It's not about who someone is enemies with, it's about who they are as a person.

The enemy of my enemy is a good person to manipulate to my ends.

This is a weird question. I said agree because if you hate Republicrats you're pretty much my ally right there regardless of the rest of your beliefs.

But Bush's enemy is supposedly Osama, so that doesn't apply there.

This is true, like the Nixon-Kissinger Game with China.

China and the USSR had had a falling out, so Nioxn and Dr. Kissinger chose to ally with them to undermine the Soviets. Brilliant strategy.

Disagree.  As someone else noted, those who feel that Bush is their enemy probably don't feel that bin Laden is their friend, even though bin Laden is the enemy of their enemy.  Enemies of enemies can still be enemies too.

Of course, in some cases, the enemy of your enemy can be very supportive of you, and in those cases it would be true, but, in general, it's not.

Reagan never backed Bin Laden.  Bin Laden's people never received a dime or a bullet from us, at least not directly.

How so?

I would think that Kerry would be best freinds with Hussein and Bin Laden against Bush.

This might not be so hypothetical.

Generally disagree, but it depends. I think when a nation is in a REAL fight for its freedom almost all means should be allowed.

I spose as a Finn you have to say that, it's the only real excuse for siding with the Nazis.
