Or maybe the Green candidate ran a horrible campaign.

Explain why he won 10% statewide, then.
...and a truther nut from Chicago did better on the Green line against Durbin.

Someone might want to check out the voting age population for East St. Louis, and compare it with registered voters.
19,000 voting age residents in Census 2010.

Oh, and 98.0% Black.
