Shouldn't you develope some random event type of thing, otherwise unless you win the first two or three primaries really you're out because you can't get tokens unless by endorsement and news does come out and shake the campaign.

Yeah, I'm pretty much dead and I'm holding out only because I have little to lose.

I intend to introduce the 'random chance' element to the general campaign, but for now I don't plan to dramatically change the rules any further.  The fact that only a few candidates have amassed a lot of credits and prevailed through the contests thus far is fairly true to life.  On the Republican side, we still have a full complement of twelve candidates going into South Carolina, whereas in reality there would only be a handful of candidates left by that point.

I don't deny that random chance is a fairly significant factor in real election campaigns, but I simply cannot find a way of introducing this concept to this phase of the game without making it more complicated and less fair.

Due to the nature of winner take all I think many without delegates still have a decent chance.

That's it. We're putting it all on Florida. I am putting only 2 campaign tokens in this stage of the primary.

BTW, to those who are losing hope, remember that it would be hard even for the frontrunner to compete in all states in the two Super Tuesday stages.

Exactly.  With such a shortage of credits on all sides, it's likely that trailing candidates will manage to win a couple of states by significant margins, thus boosting their credit totals.

Third is respectable, though not worth the tokens. Sad

Cough *switches into character* the people of South Carolina have sent a message to the GOP that it must become the party of freedom once more by giving me third place.

Note that candidates are no longer limited to the number of campaign tokens they can buy.  All other restrictions still apply, however.
