Using Daves Redistricting Blog- I redraw the NY Congressional Districts in 2010 and ended up pairing Chris Lee and Louise Slaughter in the same District.
NY-1 picked up portions of NY-2.
NY-2 picked up Suffolk portions of NY-3.
NY-3 picked up Manhasset portion of NY-5 similar to the 1992 Census.
NY-4 remained the same.
NY-5 moved west into Queens.
NY-6- remained the same.
NY-7- picked up Bronx portions of NY-18.
NY-8- picked up Manhattan portions of NY-14.
NY-9- remained the same.
NY-10-remained the same.
NY-11-remained the same.
NY-12-remained the same.
NY-13-remained the same-picked up Brooklyn portions of NY-8.
NY-14 picked up Southern Queens portion of NY-7.
NY-15 picked up South Bronx portion of NY-16.

Few points.  I'm not going to comment on the entire state, but just the Long Island portion

The Census bureau for NY had an estimated population of 19,490,297 in 2008, which would come out to an average of 696,082 per district.  The census bureau estimated the population of NY-1 at 713,084.  So it would need to drop approx 17,000.  Portions of NY-1 would have to be pushed into NY-2, not portions of NY-2 into NY-1.   Currently NY-2 needs to add 9,000 people to get to the 696,000, the 17,000 it would get from NY-1, would mean it would now need to shed 8,000.

Secondly, as far as NY-3.  One thing to keep in mind the Dems will likely control redistricting, they will make King's district more competitive.  Manhasset is Republican, they aren't going to put that into King's district.  What likely happens is the Nassau portion of NY-2 (heavily Democratic areas of Plainview, Jericho, Syosset and Woodbury) are moved into NY-3 in exchange for some of the NY-3 areas in Suffolk.   Approx 60,000 people live in the Nassau portion of NY-2, so the Suffolk portion moving from NY-3 to NY-2 would be approx 52,000, so NY02 could shed the 8,000 it will need to.

The current population of NY-3 is 652,000, with the net gain of 8,000 it would receive from NY-02 you still need to add 36,000.  You could add Dem heavy portions of NY-5 such as the Roslyn and East Hills area, but would need to be careful since it is where Ackerman lives.  The more likely scenario is to pull that 36,000 out of NY-4.  Giving King the rest of heavily Democratic Freeport (he currently only has extreme southern portions of it) should do it.  You could make things a bit more interesting by flipping a few areas perhaps portions of Levittown in NY-4 for portions of Baldwin in NY-4 or something like that.

NY-4 has a current population of a shade under 670,000, which means it needs a little over 26,000 to be added, however after the net loss of 36,000 from NY-3 it would now need about 62,000  You could do this, by pushing NY-4 into Meeks's district, but the more likely scenario is pushing it further north into the Nassau portion of Ackerman's district, again being careful of the Roslyn area since that is where Ackerman lives.

Ackerman's district then goes from about a little over 3/4 Queens, to about 7/8 Queens

Ok, so, your not going to make realistic predictions? Because last time I checked making every district more democrat is not  a good prediction, it's just you being a troll and a hack.

In New York- Democrats control the Assembly. The Senate is a tie and regarding the Governorship- if Cuomo or another generic Democrat other than David Paterson is the nominee- Democrats will occupy the Governorship in 2010.
Democratic US House members from Upstate NY- with the exception of Hall(NY-19),Tonko(NY-21),Hinchey(NY-22),Maffei(NY-25),Higgins(NY-27),and Slaughter(NY-28) represent safe seat.
Murphy(NY-20),Owens(NY-23),Arcuri(NY-24),and Massa(NY-29) are in competitive or Republican leaning districts.
NY Redistricting plan will be an incumbency protection plan- 3 Democratic US House members from upstate NY are over 70. Lowey(NY-18),Hinchey(NY-22),and Slaughter(NY-28). The Democratic controlled state legislature will probally keep Lowey's seat in case Chelsea Clinton wants to run.

The Dems control the State Senate 32-30, and the only seats that were close last year are currently seats held by the GOP.... (the 6th & 11th)
