Seems cool. Smiley

New Center

The party is primarily left-wing, such as supporting government intervention into the economy, and state welfare. (And, yes, it is a copy from the French party.Smiley)

You know what, let's make this totally different. The Atlasian model seems to work; let's do it that way. There will be no more assumed names or biographies. Elections shall actually take place, instead of being simulated.

The Center will be governed by a National Assembly, whose term shall last no more than 3 months. There will be three provinces (to be named later), which shall be governed by Legislative Assemblies, whose terms shall last no more than 2 months. All voting shall be done by closed-list PR. The holding of seats in the National Assembly and a Legislative Assembly is allowed and encouraged.

The head of state shall be the President, and the provincial heads of state shall be Governors. All four shall be elected to four-month terms; gubernatorial eletions shall take place two months after presidential elections. They shall have the ability to appoint and dismiss heads of government, and to dissolve their parliaments.

Obviously, this method will lead to instability, because that is fun. Sign up now.

Xahar, I have a request. Could you change the game so that the National Assembly elects the President? Just to make it a little different form Atlasia. Smiley

Perhaps we could do that. My reasoning was that if this was done, the National Assembly and President would generally agree. It would be fun to have them at odds; the President's powers, though few, relate to the National Assembly.

True. We could also have a Prime Minister... Smiley

Well, I might have jumped the gun saying it's the copy of the real party. But, if you look at my brief explanation, you'll see I said that it's Left-Wing.

Socialist Party: Xahar, Sewer Socialist, Marokai Blue
New Center: Barnes
Libertarian Party: PiT, Jbrase, Einzige
Radical Party: afleitch, Swing Voter
Constitution Party: Mint
Liberal Conservative Party: NC Yankee

We need 19 more members, then we'll start. All parties will need 5 members to run a list, so consolidation of parties will likely be necessary.

I will consider consolidating with the Socialists. Smiley

I would be interested in this thing except that it's obviously becoming Atlasia2 where people can just be zombies again. Great fun.

I've came back after a few days and it seems like that. I think the number of parties is high; I think there should be a left, centre and a right party and leave it like that. I'd also be keen on 'de-Americanising' this thing. I mean 'Constitution Party?' What constitution? What if ours is very liberal Smiley

I agree with afleitch. A British or French style government would be nice.

'Twill be loosely based on the French Third Republic.

Could you lay out the structure, then? Smiley

Do we have any ideas on how the Court System will work? If we're going to have one, that is. Smiley
