Shouldn't Perez Esquivel be immune too? I don't remember someone ever voting for him to be eliminated.

Edu, you are right. I must do something wrong in my calculation. I counted the vote for Shimon Peres for Perez Esquivel Sad. I will correct it Wink

The Result of Round 20

In Round 20 was a very low turnout Sad and it gave some tactical "anti IMMUNE votes". Arias was eliminated very clear. Bunche had a small victory and Robles wins only with 33% of the votes. But we can say that in this round was no surprise. Interesting was that we see the first non-fab-vote for Borlaug Grin

Round 21 is the last one before I build the Final Group.

Result of Group A:

Bunche 3, Wiesel 2, Williams 1

Result of Group B:

Robles 2, Pire 1, Borlaug 1, Hammarskjöld 1, Hume 1

Result of Group C:

Arias 3, Lamas 1, Brandt 1, Pauling 1

The Result of Round 21

In the last round of the preliminary round, there were no surprises. In every Group it gave a clear winner and in Group C with a 6 - 1 win for Pauling very high.

From the begin of Round 22 we have only one Group. In this Final Group we have the same rules like in the past. Sometimes it will give a SPECIAL RULE and I think we start in the Final Group with the 3 - 2- 1 Points rule.

Result of Group A:

Wiesel 4, Henderson 2, Williams 1

Result of Group B:

Maathai 4, Pire 1, Borlaug 1, Hammarskjöld 1

Result of Group C:

Pauling 6, Kim 1

The Result of Round 22

In the first Round of the Final Group we had still a low turnout Sad , but welcome back Hashemite to the Survivor Smiley. I was a very close race between Pire Henderson and the best friend of fab Grin. Pire wins only with one point more than the others.

In the next round we have the usual rule. i don't know tomorrow I have time for the Survivor, but we will see.

Result of Round 22:

Pire 11, Borlaug 10, Henderson 10, Branting 4, Perez Esquivel 3, Hammarskjold 2, Rotblat 1, Hume 1

The Result of Round 23

It was a very exciting round with a win for Henderson in the last minute. Sorry fab, we do our best, but the Borlaug-lovers are to much Grin

In Round 24 we have the Plus-Minus-Rule. This rule is good for surprises and maybe for Borlaug too Cheesy.

Result of Round 23:

Henderson 5, Borlaug 4

The Result of Round 24

Round 24 was a close race again and Fab can be happy Wink. Borlaug is out with the votes of the previous Rounds.

The "New years Break", I had no time for the game, is over and we can continue this Survivor without a break.

Result of Round 23:

Borlaug +2 (14,83 votes in the previous Rounds), Branting +2 (3,33 votes in the previous Rounds), Yunnus -1, Tutu -1, Walesa -2

The Result of Round 25

Branting is out and this very clear. He is looking a little bit like the Handball National Coach of Germany Heiner Brand. Maybe something like reincarnation Grin

Result of Round 25:

Branting 4, Rotblat 2, Hammarskjöld 1

Branting:

The Result of Round 26

In this Round was a clear victory of Joseph Rotblat, but Hammarskjöld have a very good second place. Now I think he is really in danger.

In Round 27 we have the usual Rule.

Result of Round 26:

Rotblat 3, Hammarskjöld 2, Saavedra Lamas 1.5, Williams 1, Ebadi 0.5

The Result of Round 27

First it looks like a easy win for Saavedra Lamas, but then 4 votes for Hammarskjöld. Every Man from the UN haven't easy in this game Wink

In Round 28 we have the usual Rule, but all Nobel Prize Winners with no vote will be IMMUNE in Round 29

Result of Round 27:

Hammarskjöld 4, Saavedra Lamas 3

The Result of Round 28

Saavedra Lamas with a clear victory. Yunus have his first vote and isn't IMMUNE in Round 29. Favourite in the next Round is Bowles Pearson, but maybe it give a surprise Wink

In Round 29 all Nobel Prize Winners without any vote are IMMUNE and you must split your vote between two NPPW. One NPPW get 3 Points and the other 1 Point.

Result of Round 28:

Saavedra Lamas 4, Bowles Pearson 2, Yunus 1

The Result of Round 29

The win of Williams in this Round wasn't a surprise, but this clear victory I don't expect that. Kalwejt make a invalid vote, because he voted for Nobel Prize Winners which were IMMUNE. And my vote for Walesa was only a test. I wanted to see how many want him out, but this time I was alone.

In Round 30 we have the usual Rule.

Result of Round 29:

Williams 15, Bowles Pearson 5, Pérez Esquivel 3, Yunus 2, Ebadi 1, Brandt 1, Walesa 1, 3 Invalid votes for Dunant and 1 invalid vote for Gorbachev (both were in this Round IMMUNE)

The Result of Round 30

A very close race between Bowles Pearson and Sakharov. The heroic action of Fab to vote for Sakharov to save Bowles Pearson did not help Wink. Like Lewis I was very surprised about this vote. I would bet all my money that Fab want to save Sakharov and not Bowles Pearson. Sakharov isn't my favourite Nobel Prize Winner, but he was a man with courage.

In Round 31 we have the "Plus-Minus" Rule.

Result of Round 31:

Bowles Pearson 4 (4.66 votes in the previous Rounds), Sakharov 4 (2.16 votes in the previous Rounds), Ramos-Horta 1

To Lewis and Hans-im-Glück:

Yeah, my Sakharov vote was a surprise, maybe even for me ! Wink

But, whereas in my 20th century history makers survivor, he was one of my second-favourites (because he was important in the USSR final years and COULD have been very important in Russia's history, as the only remaining democratic conscience),
his Nobel prize only because of fight against nuclear weapons, after having worked faithfully on them, is a bit of a fraud (oh, sure, like the big majority of Nobel prizes... Wink).

And there is my irritation at this huge trend in this forum to oust every man of power in Western countries:
it's more difficult for a Pearson to work REALLY for peace (and pretty efficiently, which isn't very often the case) than for a Yunus to promote his system (BTW, since some words on his potential political involvement, he has faded away and has compromised himself...): let's be clear. The courage isn't where you might think first...

This is the same outrage than my own when some voters ont fait la fine bouche (turned their nose up) because de Gaulle's return to power in 58 wasn't perfectly clean... 1940, 1944, 1946, new institutions, breat principles, personal integrity: all of this was put in the dustbin just to justify his elimination.

Unfortunately, I didn't vote early enough: I wouldn't have voted for Sakharov. It was a desperate vote.

The Result of Round 31

The Plus-Minus Rule is every time good for a surprise. Willy Brandt is out and very clear. I like him very much, but I don't cry Wink. He was a very good politician and one of the better Nobel Peace Prize Winners, but the place 21 is the right for him. We will see what the next Round brings for surprises.

In Round 32 we have the usual Rule.

Result of Round 31:

Brandt +3, Ebadi +1, Kim +1, Ramos Horta 0, Gorbachev -1, Nansen -1, Walesa -3

Good news: Brandt won my German Chancellors survivor and was a finalist in my 20th century history makers survivor. It would have been boring to have him here in the end once more.

Kim Dae-Jung was tempting but I preferred to oust Brandt.
I'm not very often in a position to decide a round in survivors... For once ! Wink

Yah, I gave a minus to Kim rather than Brandt because I felt it more likely someone would step up to save Brandt than Kim.
'Specially as Ebadi is now so laughably clearly the least relevant remaining Nobel Price Winner...

The Result of Round 32

In a very close race Ebadi wins over Ramos Horta. I agree with Lewis that she was the least relevant remaining Nobel Price Winner. Now the decisions will be not easier, because so many irrelevant Nobel Winners are not in the Game anymore.

In Round 33 we have the usual Rule.

Result of Round 32:

Ebadi 4, Ramos Horta 3, Kim 1
