Barring a miracle, the Republican nominee is a lock to win in Michigan.  Jennifer Granholm has been unequivocally incompetent.

To be expected. Granholm is one of the worst governors in the country, and deserves to take down the MI Democratic candidates with her.

Weird.  I expected Mike Cox to do better than Hoekstra.

Anyway, this race is a lock.  I wonder if there will be a couple surprises in the congressional races...

Rasmussen seems to be favoring the most right-wing candidate; see also Rubio's ridiculously-large lead over Meek vs. Crist's middling lead.

Governor of Michigan is probably the worst job in the country. I don't know why anyone would want to do it.

I would agree, just like with McCain's primary opponent...

Poor Michigan. Still time for things to turn around though.

If I remember correctly, Dick DeVos was ahead of Granholm in 2006 until he started talking about his political leanings. If a far-right conservative couldn't beat Granholm, what are the chances that they'll pick up an open seat?

MI and PA are definately lean democratic at the presidential level, but since it is an open race, the natural advantages to the Democratic in the cities of DTW and Philly aren't going to be there due to the fact like in VA and NJ Obama isn't on the ballot this time.

Granholm also had Debbie Stabenow on the ballot with her and the two helped each other, there is no senate contest this time around.
