I never noticed this thread before...

Why did you vote out Bernadotte Huh Just because he became king of the most awsome kingdom on earth, and betrayed his own homecountry by allying with Frances enemy because he realised that the Napoleon Empire eventually was domed to fail.

That's not a good enough reason Tongue

I can't speak for the others, but, from a Napoleonic viewpoint, he was indeed the biggest traitor.
And he wasn't a good marshal in the campaigns he took part in...
In this survivor, it's a mix between military criterias and "national" criterias.
I can't reveal my favourite for the moment, but he's quite obvious Wink

As you know, there can't be any rule to force voters to have some "universally objective" criteria.
In a way, one is allowed to eliminate Mandela and to keep Stalin if he wishes...

A very sad round: again a low turnout, but Ney, a colourful one (Wink), is eliminated before "lesser" fine ones... and with only one vote...
And he was a damn good soldier... he would have been fine in the last 5 (not more, sure, he was also a fine traitor...)
Be careful, Hans ! Wink

Berthier again.

I understand Kal's vote against Murat (I sometimes compare him with Göring, due to titles, uniforms, ridiculousness... Grin but Murat was REALLY courageous and a REAL good soldier, even if a very poor politician).
After Berthier and another one, I'll vote for Murat.
