As President of the Senate, with The President Pro Tem's concurrence I'd like to move this immediately to a vote per Article VIII Section I, Clause B of the OSPR.

NCYankee, be aware of the emergency protocols Smiley Sorry I hadn't noticed this before, guys, I've had a lots of RL stuff that I've been dealing with (but all will be back to normal soon!)

Damn it, didn't consider that, I concur with the President of the Senate.

Senators voting in the affirmative: Afleitch, Duke, Hashemite, MaxQue, NC Yankee, Tmthforu94

Senators Badger, Fritz, Hans-im-Gluck, and Mint have not voted.

No Senator voted in the Negative

This bill has enough votes to pass. Senators have 24 hours to change to their votes.

If there are no nay votes, the 24 hour waiting period is not required.

Do all Senators have to have voted Aye for that occur, or just no Senate who has voted already voting Nay?

If I read the rules correctly, if the bill has enough votes to pass AND there were no nay votes, the vote can be closed.  See article 5, section 2, clause 4.

I agree with that interpretation

Well, looks like we both achieved something this weekend. You got Mint to post more in the Senate, and I got you reading the wiki. Tongue There is hope for this Senate yet.

This legislation has passed and is hereby presented to the President for his signature.
