early turnout and old first time voters

Here's an email message from my aunt who is volunteering in TN:

"I am working the preelection days here for the election board.  It is a really interesting experience.  We are having older people come in, like 72 and 84yrs. old, who are voting for the first time.  Of course we cann't talk politics with anyone, but i would love to know which person moved them to get out."
