One of the Democrats needs to drop-out. MA has kinda proven that 20 point leads this far-out from an election mean nothing.

So much for the idea that Case/Djou would split the moderate-conservative vote, allowing Hanabusa to win. And the idea that Case/Hanabusa would split the Democratic vote, allowing Djou to win. For once, it's the white man that has all the power!

This may be what's going on, but I've learned from experience not to trust Hawaii polling.

That's a scary Djou picture. Anyway, I want Hanabusa.

I agree with Sam that this poll may be a little unreliable.

Hopefully Djou's voters coalesce around Hanabusa to elect an Asian over Ed Case.

Djou is surprisingly weak.

Based on the experiences of people I know who have lived in Hawaii, that would not surprise me if it occurred. However, I am far from an expert on Hawaiian politics & that would be quite a bizarre occurrence in most states.

Electing someone based on their race is a pretty stupid thing to do.

But electing Ed Case is an even stupider thing to do.

A Hanabusa victory would give Hawaii an all-Buddhist House delegation.

Polling this early especially for a special election isn't always reliable. Anyway I think Djou can pull off a win.

I want Ed Case to win, and will mostly likely support ihm in the general. Unless Lingle runs.
