I was wondering which city over 5,000 people, over 10,000, 25,000, 50,000, 100,000, 250,000, 500,000, 1,000,000, and 2,500,000 people had the greatest percentage for McCain?

there's only 3 cities over 2.5M, so my bet is that LA had a better McCain percentage than NYC and Chicago.

What about the rest of my question? Where can I at least find the data for all the cities (and precincts)?

You can find data for all incorporated areas in California on the Secretary of State's site.

This question is easier asked than answered because many cities and states don't draw precincts by city lines.  I have never even been able to make a reasonable guess of Durham North Carolina.  It is so bad!

This is a chart of cities I have been able to calculate :

Yea that's a hard question. A city probably has 100 precincts in it. However, there are alot of McCain districts who have democrats representing them now. That's trouble for the democrats.

Have we ever done densest city to vote for McCain?  I think that would be more fun.  If only Kiryas Joel were an incorporated municipality, maybe my bets would be on it.
