As a Republican, I would've voted for Bill Clinton in 1996 without knowing what would occur in his 2nd term and after his presidency and the same would go for Jimmy Carter in 1976 not knowing what would happen to our economy. Other than that you'd probably have to go back to Harry Truman in 1948. I would fit in well with the Democrats from 1940-1965. I don't see myself voting democrat anytime soon though for president.
