Several things... well... presuming that the Senate doesn't abolish this post before I get chance, that is Smiley

1. I intend to review existing legislation (including stuff that Atlasia adopted in 2004) to see what powers this office might actually have, and to then test them.

2. I intend to launch investigations, and issue official reports, into matters that concern the Department; housing and so on.

3. I also intend to draft legislation and put it up for Senate sponsorship. I will also comment critically on legislation relating to the Department put forward before the Senate.

4. Understanding that President Leitch intends to give cabinet government a try, I will be an active participant in cabinet level discussions and decisions.

5. If the budget is brought back, I will obviously do whatever it is that the legislation re-establishing it asks of me.

In addition, I will act in response to 'events' suggested by the GM and to policy requests suggested by the White House.
