Senators vote for PPT here. The only two declare candidates are NC Yankee, and Bacon King.

I am withdrawing from the PPT race. I have no delusions about being able to defeat a JCPer when they have five Senators and one non-JCPer has already voted for him. The PPT's office is not supposed to be political, and this strikes me as being so, unless of course further votes prove me wrong. I urge my supporters to still vote for for me in the slim chance that that might occur, though it is very unlikely.

That is not the reason for this. Bacon and I are both among the most active in the Senate. Even he wouldn't dispute that. I am glad that it is he who will run the Senate and not certain other people who I won't mention.

And, for the record, this was not a political move in the slightest. I ran at the request of two non-JCP forumites. I also doubt I'll get every JCP vote. Badger was the guy who seconded you, remember? I do urge everyone to still vote NCYankee if that is their conscience. Also, segway, please kindly stfu- NCYankee's done a fine job as PPT.

Several people PM'd me about running for PPT, Yank. I declined telling them I thought you've done a fine job, and secondly if there were to be a new PPT I think BK would be a better choice.
