The 1968 election was not about Medicare or Social Security. The 2012 election will not be about healthcare.

Maybe not the general election, but the GOP primary campaign will be in full swing 1 year from now, and I find it hard to believe that health care won't be one of the top issues.  I mean, it's the most significant piece of legislation in Obama's presidency so far, and it's really unlike to be topped in the next 12-24 months.  Surely, it'll be part of the debate.
