Political Donor Arrested for Death Threat Against Minority Congressman

Federal authorities have arrested a Philadelphia man and charged him with threatening to kill House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and his family.

Norman Leboon will be charged with two federal counts: threatening to kill a member of Congress and interfering with his federal duties, and posting video online containing such threats. He is scheduled to appear in federal district court in Philadelphia on Monday afternoon.

The arrest is the most serious in a string of threats of violence against lawmakers in wake of the divisive health care vote. At least 10 Democrats along with a handful of Republicans, including Cantor, reported threats of violence during the past week.

What Republican presidential candidate told his supporters to "get in their face" during the 2008 campaign?  What Republican presidential candidate told his supporters “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”?  What Republican union thugs attacked a minority at a town hall meeting on health care?

You and your fellow Democrats should spare us the false outrage.  There's heated rhetoric on both sides.  And politicians and other public figures get death threats all the time.  It's part and parcel of being a public figure.  Big girls don't cry - but Democrats do, in a vain attempt to harm the tea party movement.

But guess what?  Despite "Democratic" attempts at demonization and hurling childish sex names at the tea party movement,  a majority of Americans believe that the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress.  And more and more Americans believe Obama is governing as a partisan Democrat.
