"Read my Lips, No New Taxes" was the one quote that came back to haunt President HW Bush in 92. What one quote do you believe could be the undoing of Obama in 2012?

Nothing of that magnitude.

Maybe Guantanamo could come back to haunt him, but it wouldn't hurt him significantly.

I can't think of a single thing Obama has said that is quotable.  Probably the "I won" quote from earlier last year, as it epitomizes the arrogance and the inevitable downfall of his presidency.

What hasn't he flipped on? Remember transparency? No mandates? Getting out of Iraq and Afghanistan by the end of his term? etc.

If he gets under 40% consistently, I'd say something about how his expert economists claimed the stimulus will keep unemployment under 8%.

That promise had no major effect in either '88 or '92.  Bush Sr. won because his opponent was a weak candidate, then lost his re-elect because his opponent was a strong candidate + a recession started on his watch.  Obama's a strong candidate.  America knows the recession didn't start on his watch.

It's going to be a landslide re-election!

The Republicans have nothing to offer.

Obama's approvals suggest that he is not assured of re-election... not even close.

One of his regretful quotes will be how he said he supported an undivided Jerusalem remaining the Israeli capital.
