Angry I only picked NH to take VT over, now I can't! So can I switch to Connecticut?

Oh, I forgot to mention the actions of states! Well, you can certainly introduce a bill annexing Vermont as part of New Hampshire. Grin

No, it's too late.

Why?

It's already a long standing Republic.

Well, as you wish. But no more state changes. Wink

Jonathan Evans

Mr. Speaker, I wish to know exactly why we should pursue this course of action? Who has proposed this motion and why?

I thought it up to simply get the game moving. It is a one-time thing, and I will not propose any other forms of legislation. Wink

PS: Question.  When you said there was an independent Texas, you mean what's today Texas+Oklahoma, with the rest of the Southwest still belonging to Mexico?  Which would make Louisiana roughly everything west of the Mississippi minus the Southwest and the Pacific Northwest?  Finally, what's Canada like?  If I'm going to be Rhode Island, I need to know about our dear neighbors to the north.  Is Quebec independent?

Well, seeing as Kalwejt wrote the history, I'm not entirely sure. Tongue I know that sounds stupid on my part...

I'll ask Kal.

However, I would assume Louisianan being no larger than the RL French territory.

I won't be online until Saturday, but feel free to keep playing in my absence. Just keep with the debate on the current bill. Wink

To Barnes:

For this to be more orderly, could we also have a legislation introduction thread?

This game is not staying true to the period as I hoped it would. I resign as Virginia. Thank you.

I'd rather not create too many threads in the Board. However, I'm for transferring legislation introduction to this thread.

Sounds good to me - I'd rather we get some feedback from everybody else in the game than just up and doing it, though.

Vermont's not open, but Virginia is. Not sure if there are others.
