You might want to change it to just Tmthforu94, as my name will have changed at least once before this is all said and done. Wink

I find it extremely unrealistic that Nancy and Michael Reagan would endorse different candidates. The chances, really, are slim to none. I have no clue whose was accepted first, but I think the person who requested one of them first should get to keep theirs, personally. So if you could clarify, ElectoralJew, which person asked for "their Reagan" first. If I was beat to it, I will be very willing to withdraw my Nancy Reagan endorsement, simply because I want this game to be as realistic as possible.

I do remember reading somewhere that Nancy and Michael Reagan don't like each other, and that they don't get along. If this is true, then I think it's fine if Nancy and Michael Reagan endorse different candidates. OTL Ron Reagan and Nancy Reagan endorsed different candidates for the 2008 Presidential Election (and in former elections). Nevertheless, if you guys want me to, I'll withdraw my Michael Reagan endorsement.
It's entirely your decision, I won't hold anything against you, obviously. I just personally would find it strange for members of a political family endorsing different opponents.

Hm, despite the fact that Jindal endorses me, why did Cantor win just about as much support as I did from it? I went up 10%, while he went up 8%. You would think from the polling numbers Jindal endorsed both of us.

Conservative voters that don't want a women president. And alot of southerners
The same conservative voters that rallied behind Palin in `08 and would rally behind her again in 2012? I have never seen any reason to believe a woman conservative couldn't win in the South. If it was Romney vs. Palin in `12, Palin would win almost every state down there.

I'm not complaining about that. I just think it's unfair and questionable that Cantor got just as much of a bump as Lowden did from Jindal endorsing Lowden.

you got a larger bump. You act like your twenty points behind.
Wow, I got a 10 point bump, he got an 8 point bump. I'd be fine with that if Jindal just dropped out. But he also endorsed me.

And remember that was just one straw poll. Straw Polls in this alt are more likely to favor the more conservative candidates. It wasn't an average of several polls.
Very well.
One last thing, though: Lowden is a conservative candidate

I know, but Cantor is known as a very conservative candidate. Lowden is not as deeply conservative.
Okay, fine. Brown and I will just have to fight through the bias that is taking place.

Eleden, aren't you being a little too presumptious on Sue Lowden's voting record?

I can see where you're coming from, but I'm basing my statements off of the attitudes of Senate Republicans and the positions of Sue Lowden herself.  She's clearly in opposition of President Obama's agenda so it makes sense that she'd vote no on reform legislation proposed by the Democrats.

Being presumptuous is my only option really.  Sue Lowden isn't a Senator at the moment, so I don't have a voting record to base my statements off of.  You on the other hand have years of votes you could use with Senator Brown.
That's what you get for picking Brown. Wink

Due to finals and an upcoming vacation I'll no longer be able to participate for a while.  If someone would like to take my place that's fine or we could put this on hold until I'm free again in like a month.

If Tmth94 agress, we can put the game on hold for a month. I have finals too.
That kind of stinks for me. I'm completely free for the next month, but will be gone in later July.
