After announcing his candidacy, Governor Brown travels to Arizona, where he attends a rally with Senator John McCain.

Excerpt:  Scott Brown is an American patriot.  He is the face of a new generation; one that knows that solutions only come when we work together as Americans, not parties.  It is time for the corrupted Washington system to be repaired.

We can fix Washington.  We can fix Wall Street.  It all starts on Main Street.  With your support, change will come to America on January 20, 2017.

Bobby Jindal makes his next stop in South Carolina with Jim DeMint, who has endorsed Jindal. Jim DeMint gives a speech in favor of Jindal.

“Many have donned the conservative persona in order to get votes. However, it’s one thing to say that you’re a conservative; it’s another to enact conservative policies. Through his excellent governorship of Louisiana Bobby Jindal has proven himself to be a wonderful conservative. He understands the role that God plays in our Republic; he understands that we, as a nation must respect the will of God, or else we shall be forsaken.  Bobby Jindal will fight the left to protect the lives of the unborn. He will fight to protect our right to practice Christianity. Bobby Jindal understands the sanctity of marriage, and will protect it by keeping it between a man and a woman! Not only that, but Bobby Jindal is committed to protecting the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States from the left, who would infringe upon it with "gun control."

As a country founded on free market principles, it’s imperative that we stick to these free market principles. Bobby Jindal is a man you can trust to stick to the free market. He has consistently cut spending and taxes throughout his administration. He pushed the largest income tax cut in Louisiana’s history! He has also shown himself to be one of the most ethical politicians—and an ethical politician is truly something hard to find. After Jindal bravely executed ethics reform, The Better Government Association, which had ranked Louisiana 46th in 2002, moved it 41 places up and ranked Louisiana fifth in its State Integrity Index. If Bobby Jindal isn’t an ethical politician, I don’t know who is.

It’s high time we elected a real conservative to the White House, and ladies and gentlemen, that man is Governor Bobby Jindal!”
(Cheering and Applause)

Bobby Jindal releases another commercial broadcast all around the nation:

“(Video of an old, sickly looking lady sitting on a bench: the mood is dark)
Day by day, many Americans struggle to pay for their health bills. While Congress has passed strictly partisan healthcare legislation, many Americans today, are uninsured. Many Americans are still turned down by insurance companies due to pre-existing conditions, despite the partisan efforts from bureaucrats in D.C.

(Video of that old sickly lady getting medical help from doctors. Her family is surrounding her, and everybody is smiling. The mood of this video is now happy)
(Voiceover by Bobby Jindal)
Hi, I’m Bobby Jindal. As President, I will work with both parties in Congress to come up with a bipartisan plan to reform of the healthcare industry. I will listen to both sides of the aisle, and I will not lock any party out of the discussion for healthcare reform. There will be no backroom deals, and I pledge absolute transparency with regards to the healthcare debate. No longer, will Americans be turned down due to pre-existing conditions. Together, we can achieve what all Americans want: true healthcare reform.

(Video of Bobby Jindal sitting, with an American flag clearly in the background. Jindal is showed saying)
I’m Bobby Jindal, and I approve this message.”

Jindal spends the next day in New Hampshire campaigning. He is accompanied by Rand Paul, who gives a speech about how Jindal will reduce government, lower taxes, and provide more freedom for the American people, and how a vote for Jindal is a vote for Liberty in America. He has a small lead there and wants to expand on it. The next day he will campaign in Maine with Rand Paul.

“(Bobby Jindal) People always talk about giving tax cuts to the poor or to the rich, but in reality, everybody deserves tax cuts! It’s insane to give tax cuts to only the rich so that the poor must pick up after the rich, but it’s unfair to place the tax burden on solely the rich! Under a Jindal Administration, every American will get a tax cut! I don’t care where you live or how much money you make, you will receive a tax cut under my administration! Now misguided liberals will probably tell you that the government needs the tax money to solve the current problems in the United States of America, because the federal government is oh-so-great that it can solve problems effectively. The truth is that government doesn’t hold the solutions to solve the problems that we face today; you, the American people, are the solution to the problems we face today. When you go to work, do your job, and support your country, you are helping to fix the United States! I have full faith in the American people, and that we shall prevail! We have always prevailed, and there is no logical reason why we won’t prevail against the problems that face us today! A Jindal Administration will work to get the government off the backs of the American people, so that we can enter the road to prosperity! A Jindal Administration will ensure that future generations will enjoy the same freedoms that we’ve experienced, and that future generations will live better lives than we do! We will be a prosperous nation! And above else, we shall remain a free people!

I’m Bobby Jindal, and God bless you, God bless the United States of America, and God bless New Hampshire!”

(I'm assuming now that the flood gates have been opened, we can just ahead with endorsements.)

Governor Scott Brown travels to Portland, Maine, where he attends a rally with Senators Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe.  They then travel to New Hampshire, holding rallies throughout the state.

After campaigning with the Senators, Governor Brown met with John McCain in Iowa to hold joint-townhall meetings throughout the state.

Excerpt from Rally:  You all know it is time for an independent voice in Washington.  It is time for real change to come to Washington, in the form of true conservatism.

We need a voice who will not give in to the Washington establishment.  President Obama promised to be that voice, but he like so many others gave in to the establishment.

We can not afford another mistake.  It is time for your voices to be heard, and as President, I will be serving you.  Together, we will take back this nation.

Senator Sue Lowden makes a stop in Portland, Oregon speaking to several hundred college students and facility at the University of Portland...

Hello students! It's great to be up here in Oregon. I've always enjoyed visiting this state, as it has some of the best weather in America. My main point today will be abortion. As a Catholic, like many of you here, abortion has always been an issue close to my heart. It's always a debate topic, and I'm sure relationships have been ruined due to differring positions. I am pro-life and I will defend life as President of the United States. Over two decades ago, when the issue outlined was brought to the floor of the Nevada state Senate, I did not  stand to demonstrate support for the Roe v. Wade decision. Further, as a parent and state senator, I helped lead the effort on parental notification legislation. Unfortunately, that bill was defeated on the floor. I adamantly oppose any taxpayer-funded and I strongly oppose the practice of partial-birth abortion. I understand how so may feel, that the woman deserves a right of choice and shouldn't have to do something she doesn't want to do. But what about that child? That innocent life, never did any wrong, suffering in terrible ways due to others mistakes. Now, friends, tell me, is woman's choice really important enough to let another life go? As a woman, I stand here today saying no. As your President, I will do everything in my power to prevent abortion. There won't be public funding for abortion, and I will appoint pro-life judges to the Supreme Court. For the sake of the unborn. Thank you all, and God Bless you all.

Eric Cantor comes up to podium in a packed high school gym...

My fellow Virginians and Americas. Friends, family, neighbors, all joined together for this cause. I have come before you today to talk about the direction of our country. While in only two democratic years, the liberal Obama agenda has set our country back, voters around America elected a strong Republican Congress to fight the radical, government takeover, socialist agenda. I've been advised not to say that word, socialist. But the American people need to hear the truth and I'm not afraid to speak up. In President Obama's term he has narrowly turned into law, against the consent of the American people, government takeover of our economy, of health care of the energy industry. What more will we as Americans have left if we continue this path? 2012 came around and we fought hard, but we did not stay focused. There is only one way we can take back the White House, by being who we are, by being conservatives

We left Iraq knowing and presented with evidence that if we did not leave the country in capable hands, with our mission a success, we would be back at square one. Ladies and gentlemen, today Al Qaeda lives and is coming back to Iraq and for what? Thousands of American lives were lost only to withdrawal, accept defeat and have the threat of terror live on. We must support a free and democratic Iraq. While we succeeded in Afghanistan, we cannot leave the nation to ruins like we have after the withdrawal of the Soviet Union. Afghanistan must now and always be our friend our ally, and we must help them rebuild their country, their roads and schools. While we do not need to protect them with our soldiers, we must support them whenever we can to ensure the fall of all terrorists.

We must not only reduce, but eliminate our federal deficit. The President’s spending has been out of control. Government is not looking at consequences, what happens when China, Japan, The United Arab Emirates say enough, we won’t pay for you guys anymore? What happens when we are asked to repay up our loans immediately and with interest. What happens when the dollar falls so the world market doesn’t use it anymore? This is not something I can stress enough, we cannot have another deficit. We must cut wasteful and pork-barrel spending, we must stop these irresponsible bailouts, we must reform and reduce our departments and we must make sure government only spends on what it is actually meant to spend.

Unemployment is at 6%, this is unacceptable. President Obama had two terms to fix the economy and not only is it not fixed, our children, grandchild and great grandchildren now have to pay for his government spending that did little or nothing for our economy. We need a friendly business environment. We need to reduce corporate tax to 15%, to eliminate capital gain immediately so jobs start in American, come to American and stay in America. With millions of more jobs, we will have more revenue and with a drastic reduction in spending, we will have a surplus. We must work on a transition to the FairTax, a consumption tax. No more taxing how hard you work, how well you’ve done, the jobs you’ve created. You will be taxed on what you use and nothing else. America’s productivity can now be unleashed to full levels and bring in tens and hundreds of billions of dollars.

We must appeal ObamaCare. There are sensible solutions to reforming health care. We must open state borders, which will immediately get up to 14 million Americans insurance without a single cent of government money spent. We must push for tort reform and eliminate wasteful and pointless malpractice lawsuits that drain money for no apparent reason. We must allow the importation of legal drugs from Canada and other countries so our own companies must perfect and lower their prices. We must push to computerize medical records to avoid mistakes made in the hospital and so doctors can quickly gather information. We need to end the mandate to buy health insurance. If you can’t afford it and don’t want it, you don’t have to buy it. We must also allow health plans to be portable from job to job, to protect families when there is a short bump on the long road of life. We can create affordable solutions and we will.

It is a necessity for energy independence. Our national security depends on it. We must unleash the full strength of our own resources. We must drill for oil, from the tundra of Alaska to the oceans that surround us. We must mine for coal, which America is the equivalent as Saudi Arabia is to oil. We must ramp up clean and safe nuclear production. France is 80% powered by nuclear, I think we can do better than 20%. We must explore biofuels, ethanol isn’t going to get us independent, but we’ll be one step closer. There is now technology that we can use algae, which will also help our environment. We must focus our alternative energy resources on hydroelectric and ocean power as that is the most reliable sources of alternative energy. We must use solar power and wind as well as nonrenewable energy declines. America has the potential to be energy independent, and we must become energy independent as well as eventually become an alternative energy country. It’s not going to happen in 10 or 20 years like politicians promise, but if we start now and use everything available, we will succeed.

It is essential to renew the promise made to Americans, social security. FDR didn’t intend for people to work less then they live and while it may be nice, we must face reality and know the government cannot pay trillions of dollars for these unfunded mandates. We must raise the retirement age to 68 by 2020 and 70 by 2030. We must allow for private accounts so Americans can save and invest their money for their own futures and retirement plans. The American people know better than the government about their lives, their families and their personal economic situation. A child born in 2000 is expect to leave to be 100, there is no reason they should be working less in their life then the total time of retirement and school. We may not like to face the facts, but if our country wants to stay afloat we must. We cannot continue to pretend we have money to pay for everything, we don’t and it’s irresponsible and a flat out lie to the American people when the government promises one thing and has no money to pay for it.

Our nation today is struggling, but our future has never been brighter. Our current road will lead us into an everlasting economic depression and ruin when the dollar is rejected and our foreign lenders demand their money back. Our country will be not only weaken, but no longer the greatest in the world. We must make the tough, but responsible choices. Americans don’t accept failure, and neither do I. Together our nation will be stronger and more free than ever. We will move toward complete energy independence, we will bring real reform to health care, we will create millions of jobs and will reform Washington finally. This is long overdue friends which is why we must start today. Together our nation will be stronger than ever. There is nothing America cannot accomplish. As Speaker of the House Republicans and Democrats alike have brought up good ideas for our country, but when the liberal agenda of Obama and the special interests, lobbyists and corrupt politicians get in the way, our nation is runs off course. That is why I have decided to announce my candidacy for President of the United States. I only have two promises for you. One, I will always tell you what I believe, the truth. Two, I will fight for every promise I make to this nation in the White House because America is bigger than me and you, it’s the last beacon for hope and liberty, the nation of the children yet to be unborn and we must fight to keep it that way. Thank you and God bless the United States of America!
-----
Speaker Cantor then heads to Iowa to kick off the campaign with town hall events and meetings. The Speaker is making the western swing of the state before visiting New Hampshire and South Carolina for the same events. Later next week Cantor will visit Nevada for fundraisers, town halls and rallies.

After a campaign rally in Portland with Dean and Sanders, Feingold appeared on Face the Nation from his Maine campaign head quarters in Augusta. When asked about his plans to reduce the budget deficit, Feingold said:

Recently, Governor Jindal proposed auditing every federal department to see what areas we can cut. While I disagree with Jindal on most issues, I think this could be just what the doctor ordered. However, we still need decisive action to put our fiscal house in order. However, an audit alone is not going to balance our budget. In my opinion, we can't talk about reducing our deficit without talking about reorganizing the Pentagon's budget. There is so much fraud and waste in the Pentagon's budget, but most politicians are afraid to talk about it because they're afraid of looking weak on defense. But here's the truth, bloated spending on outdated weapons systems is not making us any safer; it's making us look stupid. If we were to just cut the Cold War weapons systems from the Pentagon's budget, we'd save over $60 billion per year. When I'm President, I'll make sure that the Pentagon has a smart and efficient policy towards defense spending rather than a an over bloated and inefficient policy.

Feingold is now scheduled to go to Charleston, South Carolina, for a rally.

Cantor launches his energy plan in Nevada followed by a tour in Colorado, Arizona, California, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico and Texas to speak on energy issues. In Nevada, Cantor is joined by Mitt Romney and in Colorado he is joined by Congressman Ryan Frazier.

It is a necessity for energy independence. Right here in Nevada we have that potential and our national security depends on it. We must unleash the full strength of our own resources. We must drill for oil, from the tundra of Alaska to the oceans that surround us, to the lands of Texas and plains of Wyoming. We must mine for coal, which America is the equivalent as Saudi Arabia is to oil. In not only the Rocky Mountains, but in the eastern United States we can unleash our full coal potential which powers 50% over America. We must ramp up clean and safe nuclear production in all parts of America. We have Uranium here in the so let's get to using it safetly. It doesn't take a lot of uranium to power a lot of cities across the United States. France is 80% powered by nuclear, I think we can do better than 20%. We must explore biofuels, ethanol isn’t going to get us independent, but we’ll be one step closer. There is now technology that we can use algae, which will also help our environment. We must focus our alternative energy resources on hydroelectric like we have done along the Colorado River and ocean power as that is the most reliable sources of alternative energy. In a Cantor White House, there is going to be the largest energy economy boom this nation has ever seen. We can say goodbye to unemplyoment and hello to jobs and revenue which powers America.

Cantor also makes stops in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida regulary.

Romney continues to make stops along the western US for the next few weeks.

Bobby Jindal makes a Bobby Jindal 2016 campaign tour of the South, visiting every state in the South. He is accompanied by Haley Barbour, Mike Huckabee, Jim Demint, and Tom Coburn. The tour ends with a quick visit to his home state of Louisiana. Huckabee brings either Capitol Offense or the Little Rockers with him on the campaign trail to generate people to come. Both groups play classic rock, and often they play Southern Rock songs like "Sweet Home Alabama" or "Mississippi Queen."

Newt Gingrich announces his endorsement for Bobby Jindal

(Newt Gingrich) Governor Jindal is leading a revolution of conservative reform in Louisiana. He is the most transformational young governor in America today. The principles that motivate his governing are the same pro-innovation, pro-competition, anti-bureaucracy and anti- big government principles that are so desperately needed in Washington, D.C. Governor Jindal has built a spectacularly impressive record of accomplishment for the people of Louisiana. Here are some of his momentous achievements: he cut taxes in Louisiana six times, he eliminated the Department of Labor and passed a guarantee for employers that Louisiana educational institutions will train its workforce to meet their needs, he created $10 million in Opportunity Scholarships so 1,500 poor children in New Orleans can escape failing public school, he created transparency of cost and quality for the first time in Louisiana's health care system, he expanded the number of charter schools in Louisiana from 42 to 100, and he passed legislation cracking down on child molesters. I urge each and every one of you to vote for Bobby Jindal.

Eric Cantor campaigns in South Carolina with Lamar Alexander and Bob McDonnell before campaigning in Florida with Marco Rubio.

We need to cut taxes. We need to grow our economy, control our spending and then finally repay our debt so we can be a free nation. We cannot continue to pretend we don't have a spending problem. We do. We must end pork-barrel projects, end earmarks, eliminate overlapping areas in departments and even departments themselves. We need to reduce the size of government and expand jobs and our economy. Let's make the United States the best place to do business.

Senator Sue Lowden continues her campaign, making stops in Washington, Idaho, and Wyoming before making a stop in Bismarck, North Dakota where she holds a rally downtown, where she speaks about reducing the national budget. Here is a transcript of part of her speech...

To stop this madness, I propose that the federal government mandate not only an immediate spending freeze, but that we ask all federal departments and agencies to cut 5 percent of their spending, except those tasked with protection our national and homeland security. Washington liberals have so drastically increased federal spending in this country that we cannot simply stop the level of spending, we need to reduce spending to get our nation back on a more stable, economic footing. Republicans, Democrats, Independents – and those who are years away from even becoming eligible voters – deserve better. As your President, I will stop this careless spending and prevent decades of job-killing tax hikes and unaffordable interest rates.

Governor Brown travels to Arizona, where he campaigns with John McCain:

Excerpt:  Eight years ago, we were promised change in America.  Now, I must say, that change still seems too much like more of the same.  Corporations still control the White House and Congress, the American people do not have a voice.

Speaker Cantor is a part of the problem, not the solution.  Congress continues to serve it's self-interests, not the American people.  We need more independent thinkers like John McCain, Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins if we hope to reach our goal to again serve this nation's citizens.

We all know that health-care in this nation needs major reforms.  I will make these reforms happen.  However, unlike President Obama, I will do it in a responsible manner that our children will not pay for.  Our problem now is our debt.  Under President Obama, our deficit has exploded, and we have taken even more loans from other countries.

We use to be the ones to give loans to developing countries.  Now, China is treating us like a developing country.  Well, I say no more!  We need to balance the budget, turn our deficit into a surplus, and once again become the world's economic superpower and regulator.

These would all be goals of a Brown Administration.  We need more than Hope in America now, we need tangible change, and change will be delivered when I become President!
