It's not surprising. Isakson is an idiot, and the Democrats could turn this into a repeat of 2008: Run a fairly weak candidate, against an unpopular incumbent, and narrowly loose.

Of course, Isakson might not be greatly unpopular, but his approvals aren't trough the roof, either. Smiley

Well exactly, the Dems don't have a chance with the Senate seat. Their best shot was '08, and they blew it.
