32 - 30 - 24, should Crist run as an Indie.

I don't believe the Meek-Rubio numbers. Rubio is much further ahead.

Possibly. Rubio's been hit by scandal in the past couple of weeks, and Crist is going all-out negative (basically relating to GOP fundraising and spending party money lavishly on personal expenses). I wouldn't be surprised to see Rubio's numbers depressed for now.

I hope Crist runs as an independent. I think it's anybody's ball game then.

Me too. Charlie Crist is too good a politician for his career to implode now.

If Crist runs as an indy I can see him winning. He would be able to pull a good amount of repubs and dems and win most independents. It would be close, but I still think either way Meek is gonna lose.

Yup, it's virtually a two-horse race. Rubio Vs. Crist.

The NRSC just sent out a think saying if Crist persues an Indy run they will go against him and it will end his GOP career.

I personally would still support him, and he won A LOT of democrat and indy teachers over with his recent veto of SB 6. It was supported by most republicans except a few (Paula Dockery.) So his veto of that bill might be a sign towards an indy run.

No, he's George W. Bush personified. Conservative in all the wrong ways, and liberal in all the wrong ways(except environment, apparently).

A sitting Republican governor destroyed in a primary from the right has no political future in the GOP.

Crist vetoed a Jeb Bush backed education bill this week. He's running as an independent.

I hope he wins.

What a shameful thing to do - switch parties because you just cant win...  I hate Charlie Crist - always have.  He is the biggest liar in our party.  He lies about being a conservative, and even the gays hate him because he lies about his sexuality (see Outrage).  The thing is, it wont work for Crist.  He is going to paired with Meek in ads as liberal.  Also, he said definitively, not just once, not just twice, but three times on the Fox News Sunday debate, that he is running as a republican.  You cant come out of something like that and expect people to trust you.

BTW, I dont trust these numbers.  Rubio's 10-15pts ahead of Meek.

If Crist switches to Indy and wins, who does he caucus with in Congress?

The feeling of victory is too strong.  Whether the feeling is rational or irrational is irrelevant.  We will see how the race actually turns out, but Rubio is the person we've been looking for since Reagan, and all of us who are true conservatives feel it.
