I would like to ask the Census Bureau to please change the SE to Imperial Dominion of the South (IDS) as the 2/3+ majority of the former SE approved a constitutional amendment to change the region's name. Please and thanks

You're joking, right?  Tongue

The region is free to use any name it wishes, however, the Census Bureau will use the commonly used name for its purposes.  Note that I do not use the "öfficial" names of the Midwestern states (but I do recognise registrations using those names).

If you insist, I might consider changing "Southeast" to "South" on the Voter List and Census Atlasia tables.  You must understand that these are tables with limited space- there is not room for the entire official name.

Well, at least it's better than "Dirty South". Tongue

A vote has been held, and the Democratic Alliance no longer exists. All members are therefore independent voters until they choose to register with another party (right? Wink)

Well, umm, no.

Atlasians are free to register under any party name they choose, whether the party has any other members or not.  Members of the former Democrartic Alliance are free to retain that party name forever, if they so choose.  They do not need to be recognised by any Party authority to do so.

Look at the Liepist National Front, for example.  There are still voters with that as their party name.

There are provisions in the law for a major party changing its name, but nothing about disbanding.

Banned, removed: HoffmanJohn

Voter List currently is FINAL for the August federal election.  I realize a major party shift is underway, and voters are free to make party changes at any time.  But no more changes will be recorded on the official List until after the election.

I am requesting a list of all registered voters in the Imperial Dominion of the South in order to facilitate my campaign for Legislature. Thank you.

Such a list is easy for you to create yourself, as I have already done most of the work for you.  Simply copy the Voter List from the first two posts of this thread, paste into a spreadsheet, and sort by region.  Smiley

Shouldn't WilliamSargent be removed if he indeed is banned?

This post from Joe Republic seems to suggest so:

LOL.

I woke up today to see that post, and also to learn that WilliamSargent is now being forced to take an extended break from the forum.  But yeah, that's probably my fault too, amirite?

Do you know what exactly, did WilliamSargent do that was ban-worthy?

Also, we should find out the nature of this ban (whether he'll be back soon or not). If his "extended break" lasts until after the next election, shouldn't we be holding a special election for his assembly seat?

I am aware of WilliamSargent's banning, which I believe occured after my last update.  He will be removed in the post-election update.

Sorry, but I don't do an update every single day.  Nor am I expected to.  Nor do I have a MG that keeps me informed of who is banned.

I do keep my own track of this, Teddy.  I notice that you didn't include yourself.  Tongue

For Census Bureau purposes, Fuzzybigfoot and Jas will be counted as having voted.  As for nickjbor aka Teddy, he's questionable....didn't attempt to vote, that I can tell... ah well, I'll let ya slide.  Smiley

I'd respectfully hope the RG wouldn't let confusion with when voting was actually supposed to end factor into activity levels for the purpose of registration.

All ballots cast are counted towards activity, weather or not they ended up in the certified counts.
