Wow, lol.

At any rate, regardless of how it looks now, Paul stands to lose quite a bit under certain circumstances.

Uhhhh.....
Yes, nice try.

Even during the worst days for Democrats (last January-February) Paul never led by more than high single digits. Apparently Rassmusen has decided to squander any goodwill he has left and vindicate Kos.

Fits the narrative Rassy wants to push.

Just because you don't like the numbers doesn't mean they're wrong.

A 16 point primary bounce from Rassy's previous poll last month?

And even more, in a month where Democrats' numbers improved in almost every other race in the country, even in Iowa against Grassley.

Well, one cares about Kentucky. The other only cares about his own agenda and getting national prominence. Because daddy couldn't succeed.

Paul also has a 69-28 favorability rating compared to 44-45 for Conway.

I don't know if it's funny or sad that you think Rand Paul gives a sh**t about Kentucky. What gives you that impression?

Uh, Rand Paul cares about Kentucky. That's why he's running. Kentuckians are strongly opposed to Obama's agenda, including the reckless spending, the corporatist "healthcare reform", the joke "stimulus" packages, illegal alien amnesty, radical judicial nominees, big government, etc, etc. Paul wants to save the people from the Obamanation; it is Jack Conway who is clearly out-of-touch with his state.

The favorability numbers speak for themselves here.

Besides, what's the point of Rasmussen wanting to boost GOP chances one month but not the next?

I wouldn't doubt that Rassy is using a turnout model for 2008 that favors Republicans, but I severely doubt it's part of a conscious, malicious effort to churn out GOP-friendly numbers. It's simply an honest attempt to accurately measure turnout.

It's all about Obama with you, isn't it? You couldn't even name one accomplishment Rand Paul has done to better the lives of Kentuckians.

Jack Conway cracked down on child porn on the internet, and crafted legislation that bars sex offenders from frequenting social networking sites that minors use. And it passed unanimously. Freedom hater! He's leading a task force to keep prescription pills and drugs out of the hands of minors and in circulation on the street. He launched an investigation on the rising princes of gasoline. He's saved taxpayers $200 million dollars and intervened in rate increases for the Medicaid program.

But if your rebuttal is just gonna be centered around Barack Obama and freedom, don't bother.

As a physician, Dr. Paul has improved the healthcare of many Kentuckians. That's far more than parasitic career politician Jack Conway ever did for anyone.

INTERVIEWER: Mr. Paul, do you support laws against child porn?
PAUL: Do I support child porn in general? No, and I wouldn't support businesses that did. Still, you have to make the, uh, the comparison here to private businesses that don't want patrons to bring guns into their establishments.
INTERVIEWER: But on the subject of the law itself?
PAUL: Guns private gun gun private gun gun gunity-gun-gun private business gun.

Damn, every physician should just become senators then! Besides, isn't Rand Paul becoming what you hate the most... a parasitic politician? He's already got the parasitic part down.

"Rand Paul Opposes Government!" Amazingly original. I don't think anyone's run on that platform, ever!

Actually, on a more serious note, I don't think anyone sane has run against the Civil Rights Act, that's pretty damn original.

No, he doesn't. Paul is a citizen politician, not a career politician. He is not running to make a career out of politics but to defend freedom.
