Obama F    (name one thing Obama likes about America)
Bush B-      (did what he thought was right even when unpopular)
Clinton C+  (only because he did what the GOP wanted)
Bush A-      (great skills and fine job)
Reagan A+ (fantastic)
Carter F     (weakling)
Ford C        (wasn't ready yet and would've done better with a 2nd term)
Nixon B      (if the ends justify the means, then he was a good guy)
Johnson F  (socialism has no place in this country and you ruined the south)
Kennedy B- (RIP, Marilyn Monroe defines his character, too young and inexperienced)
Eisenhower A+ (earned the job like Washington did with his military expertise)
Truman C-        (started off fine and went downhill with Korea's procrastination)
Roosevelt F      (way to turn the US into a welfare nation with powerful rulers)
Hoover C          (almost had us out of the depression which no one understands now)
Coolidge B-       (good interim)
Harding B          (took us out of the 1920 depression)
Wilson C           (could've ended WWI sooner had we been involved)
Taft B-               (unlucky when challenged by the Bull Moose Party)
Roosevelt A+    (I still follow the Big Stick Policy)

All person bias, not much objectivity.
William McKinley: D-
Theodore Roosevelt: B+
William Howard Taft: C
Woodrow Wilson: D+
Warren G. Harding: F
J. Calvin Coolidge: D+
Herbert Hoover: D
Franklin D. Roosevelt: B+
Harry S. Truman: B

Richard M. Nixon: D-
Gerald Ford: D+
Jimmy Carter: C
Ronald Reagan: F
George H.W. Bush: C-

As you can see the only 20th century presidents I really like are FDR, TR and Truman. LBJ only gets a B because of Civil Rights and Medicare, besides that he was a goon.

Actually I am not sure if there is an A+ (and I say that as a teacher), but I gave LBJ the gold star for the fact that in doing what he felt was best he knowingly 'destroyed his party in the South'.

I'm using French school marks instead of Americans.

McKinley : 12/20
Roosevelt : 15/20
Taft : 5/20
Wilson : 13/20
Harding : 9/20
Coolidge : 9/20
Hoover : 3/20
Roosevelt : 18/20
Truman : 15/20
Eisenhower : 13/20
Kennedy : 12/20
Johnson : 17/20
Nixon : 11/20
Ford : 10/20
Carter : 9/20
Reagan : 4/20
Bush : 8/20
Clinton : 11/20
Bush : 1/20
Obama : 13/20 so far

How come Taft is lower than Nixon and Carter? He didn't screw up anywhere.

So you give Wilson a astronomically higher grade than his closest ideological counterpart?
