(Part of a series of re-examining how historical landslides would turn out in today's very different and far more polarized United States)

Imagine if the 1956 election, Dwight Eisenhower vs. Adlai Stevenson, were held in today's United States...what would the electoral map look like?

(Also feel free to include a "swing" map from what the original election outcome was, if you like making maps Tongue)

The Democrats win the North in this scenario instead of the south. But, Stevenson was still a horrible candidate

Stevenson does a lot better. But still doesn't come close to winning

With 2 liberals splitting the vote, a conservative 3rd party pulls off the win.
