Looking at the live Mayoral results page it seems like Boris has almost certainly win on first preferences, and presumably will be re-elected. Most of the places favourable to Ken are closer to having finished counting than those favourable to Boris, who's ahead as it is. Labour are ahead in the city-wide assembly, and Greens are third in both races so far.

Just realised I was reading the results wrong: I was counting registered ballots rather than verified ones, the areas behind on the latter category tend to be Livingstone-leaning ones. Still looks like Boris will win thought and Greens still in 3rd place..

So, who would like to be the first to tell everyone what's wrong with the BBC's map of the assembly results?

Lack of shading? It's correct as far as its information content goes as far as I can see.

Oh, or maybe you mean the fact that it misleadingly shows the borough lines yet is colored in by constituency.

The latter was what I was getting at, I briefly though Labour had won Hillingdon, Harrow and Barnet..

First ward map of many. If you're wondering why it appears I'm using one of Sibboleth's colour schemes, that's because I am, because it's great.

My only observations so far are that Johnson appears to have strengthened in gentrified/gentrifying areas of inner London (e.g. Clapham, Islington, parts of the Docklands) since 2008, and that Livingstone has recovered a little bit in relatively working class areas in outer London (e.g. Eltham West, most wards in Barking and Dagenham) where he had done markedly badly last time.
