Thought it'd be a good idea to have one of these now that Congress Forever is out...

The 2008 scenario, playing as the GOP and overcoming the odds to narrowly re-take control over the House:

So, after all the suspense waiting for this to come out, I take it nobody else actually got Congress Forever?

I got it; I just haven't had time to play.  In a couple weeks, when school's out, I'll play it a lot.

My best so far- breaking even as the Dems, with a narrow win in PV as well. Some strange results- I managed to win Indiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Louisiana, while somehow losing Illinois, Colorado, and Missouri.

Wish they had Mac versions of these; I used to love playing them.

The 2010 Senate scenario results playing as the Dems... a wet dream outcome for the Dems in real life...

Oklahoma came as a surprise. I released a scandal and then about a week before noticed Tom Coburn's lead was in the single digits. I targeted it and poured some money into it and narrowly pulled off an upset 50.7-49.3 win.

Ya, that's how they chose to implement his candidacy. Third parties are otherwise not included unfortunately.

My new best. Though not as good as Libertas' performance, I was still quite pleased with making a net gain of 2 seats:

Lost NC by 2.4%, MO by 3%, IN by 4.4%

Won CO by 4.2%, AR by 16%, IA by 0.2%, KY by 6%, OH by 10.4%, NH by 8.2%, CT by 4.6%, NY-Special by 12.8%, PA by 1.4 %, NV by 5.2%, LA by 6.4%, WA by 19.6%

FL was 39.5-38.6-21.9 Rubio-Crist-Meek

All others were greater than 60% by their respective parties.
