Dick Gephardt kicks off his campaign with a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire. Gephardt plans to campaign in NH for the next two weeks on issues relating to working families (especially fair trade, tax fairness, labor rights, and social security).

He also releases his first campaign ad:

It will air in Iowa, New Hampshire, Minnesota, and South Dakota.

Gephardt also announces that he is setting up a toll-free 1-800 number to help facilitate grassroots fund raising.
