Dewey would win, Thurmond would split the southern vote in Truman's favor as Wallace would do the opposite in the rest of the county.

FDR is usually placed in the top 3 in president rankings, I'm sure he'd have a chance.

Alright. The only post-Truman pre-Clinton election Democrats could win if held today is 1960.
