What's really shocking is that Rick Scott is leading Bill McCollum in this poll, 44% to 31%. WTF?!

If he somehow wins this thing on the basis of blanket advertising and voter ignorance, this would be a primary fail to match Sharron Angle. The guy's company paid a $2 billion fine for Medicare fraud.

It doesn't really matter once Chiles announced it killed any chance that Sink had left to win it, the GOP will hold this seat.

Rick Scott should be unelectable, I would think. Whether Sink or Chiles would benefit more is something I couldn't say.

So unelectable that he's about to win an election?

Like Alvin Greene just won?

Winning a primary by vastly outspending your opponent doesn't make you a shoo-in for November. He's got a lot of dirty laundry.

Sink has had her chance to close the gap with herself and McCollum, and she didn't. HIR was suppose to help the Dems like SS did in 2000 for Al Gore, but it hasn't. I think the GOP takes Florida.

Its worth noting that Scott is running on supporting the Arizona-law, something every other major republican iun the state has been wise enough not to touch. Whether or not he could win a 3-way race is up in the air, but I think he would hurt the rest of the ticket, especially Rubio, by forcing each and everyone of them to take a position on it and thereby alienate someone. So I think Scott is a net loss for the GOP, especially with Crist looking a lot stronger than people thought.

Why would one run away from a law that is both popular and right?
