lol. The whole sh**t was moving over here, though nothing fell in my house, even the minuscule things (not even my stuffed Australian koala). Apparently felt all the way in Waterloo, ON and Montreal.

It disturbed me in my study of factions in the Australian Labor Party.

We had a quake about 40 mins ago here in Northern Ohio.

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake out of Ontario, Canada was felt in Northeast Ohio and at least as far south as Cincinnati.

The epicentre was in Quebec.

People in Detroit area felt it.  I didn't (but I was at work).

They said on the news that it could be felt throughout most of the Northeast, but I never felt anything.

On those rare occasions where we have earthquakes, they're always too small to feel (sometimes as low as the 2.0-2.9 range). This one was much bigger, but too far away to be noticed.

Stephen Colbert said tonight that even Canada's earthquakes are bland. Cheesy

I've never felt an earthquake in my life.. but that comes with living in one of the most geologically inactive areas on earth.  The rocks here are 80% as old as the earth.
