AND WHEREAS, We, as a region, are far more awesome than the other pithy regions in this great nation

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That, we shall approach the Senate and request the following.

One Bear, be it a Teddy Bear or otherwise, under his right to be armed, shall be recruited into the "Military of the Midwest". This one Bear shall thus make up the entirety of the "Military of the Midwest". The region shall request permission to grant this Bear military status, and shall ask to be allowed to maintain a total number of one (1) armed Bears as military protection.

This act shall come into force once agreed to by the Senate.

And Whereas, this is near the middle of the region
And Whereas, being central is noy funny

Therefore be it resolved that, a referendum be called for all citizens, to be taken as an STV vote, with the options to move the capital to:
Tom in the state formerly known as Oklahoma. On the grounds that it is in the extreme southeast of the region.
In the corner of the Kootenai National Forest, on the grounds that this is the extreme northwest of the region.
And in the Northwest Angle, on the grounds that this is the extreme northeast.
