As of this posting, Bush has 56,317,896 votes, more then any Presidential canidate in history.

Yes...of course Bush is still well below Reagan's share of the population.
This is a record, but it don't mean much.

^^ We're finally shaking off the last remnants of loyalty to the Old Democratic Party.  Lots of long-time Alabama Democrats just couldn't bring themselve to vote for John Kerry.
