Why did the NV GOP just have to nominate Sharron "Second Amendment" Angle?

Wait, you think the problem with Sharron Angle, who favors scientology massages and abolishing social security, is that she supports gun rights in Nevada?
I was referring to her decidedly ill-advised comment concerning "second amendment liberties." I fully support gun rights, within reason. IIRC she just wants to partially privatize social security, like Bush.

They didn't the TEA PARTY did. Nice going folks, you blew another one.

I'm going add this to the NY-23 list.
In other words, the NV GOP. As an example, Ron Paul would done far better in the GOP caucus in Nevada in 2008, but the GOP state chairwoman essentially fixed the election to ensure that he would not come close to achieving victory. That chairwoman was Sue Lowden. A bunch of die-hard conservative activists had a bit of a grudge against her for that.

NY-23 looks like it could go Dem again due to further GOP infighting.

EDIT: Hi Morgan!
