I want Rossi vs. Didier polls! Sad

Also, the Didier/Akers joint campaigning thing is...weird.

Pollsters should really just be polling all the candidates at once, no? Isn't that what the "primary" election will be?

For some reason, Rasmussen hasn't polled primaries.

It's a "top-two" primary. A Rossi-Didier poll would be useless.

Yes, though it would be better if Dino Rossi came in 3rd in the primary and never even advanced to the general election.

Really? How odd. I haven't lived in Washington my entire life, I didn't vote in the top two primary in 2008, I haven't mentioned it dozens of times. Thank you so much for enlightening me. I don't know where I would be without your truly immense amount of wisdom and brilliance.

Then why the heck would you want a Rossi vs. Didier poll?

Fine. I want a "top two primary" poll to see how Rossi and Didier are doing in getting spot #2. Sheesh.

The Survey USA poll from a while ago showed it as 33-5 Rossi. A "Washington State" poll showed it as 16-15 Didier. So, unfortunately I'd say Rossi will probably get the #2 spot.

I've seen both. I want a new one. Tongue

And yes Dino is heavily favored for spot #2, but we can dream.

Sarah Palin endorsed too.

Interestingly though, DeMint is backing Rossi.

Palin's endorsement of Didier was just a throwaway endorsement.  Remember when she tweeted her endorsement of Angela Mcglowan after she was clearly in a distant, distant 3rd in her GOP primary?

What in the world are Palin's motives I wonder?  Is this designed to enhance her speaking fees?

I think some of these decisions are made haphazardly without any thought and others, like Branstad, are made strategically to enhance her profile, and others, like Paul, are to enhance her anti-establishment creds

When can I hope to anticipate that Palin will just go away like a nightmare does when you wake up, do you think?

For someone who's only significant office was half of a term as governor of Alaska, she doesn't seem inclined to go away any time soon.

I mean, Newt Gingrich is still making noise, I imagine Palin will match his has-been staying power + %50

I think if she follows the Giuliani curve to oblivion in the primaries, you might be freed of her.

How's that supposed to work anyway ?

Almost like a general election poll, with a run-off in November, ain't it

Palin's endorsements are pretty formulaic.  Endorse the longshot candidate; if they win, it's because of Palin power, if they lose it's because they're a sh**tty candidate - endorse longshot unless frontrunner is a woman, unless said woman is Lisa Murkowski.
