Tragically, I don't think so.

Obama will "pretend" to win the war sometime next year, the media will play Hail to the Chief.

The US will go home.

I highly doubt the US will be going home anytime soon. If Obama ever pulls the troops out of Afghanistan, it will be because they're needed in Pakistan or Iran.
