BRTD, what's the next best Modest Mouse album after The Moon & Antarctica?

(This question is open to anyone, I just assumed BRTD would have an opinion Tongue )
Lonesome Crowded West is better. You'd love This Is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing to Think About.

I just got the album Giant Steps. John Coltrane's ability as a saxophonist was frightening.

Anyone else listened to the new Superchunk? I got the vinyl*, great album, probably my favorite of 2010 so far.

*I'm very old fashioned and do not listen to albums before they are released.

Asif. The Music megathread should DIAF. Sure, most people have cruddy taste in music, but without discussing random crap like this (has anyone who has functioning ears actually ever listened to this band?) there's not much left going on in OT but American sports and movies. If we can get rid of around 1/3rd of discussion into a thread that doesn't allow you to filter out the random BRTD gunk, why not have a sports megathread, a gaming megathread, a movies megathread and a wankathon megathread and be done with it?

Say no to megathreads, people, and retain your liberty.

Actually, not a bad idea.  If someone starts a sports, gaming, etc. megathread I'd sticky it (What Movies did you see recently sort of does it for movies)

I am slightly bored, so I decided to rank the Beatles albums from best to worst:

Abbey Road
Rubber Soul
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
The White Album
Magical Mystery Tour
Let It Be
Beatles For Sale
Revolver
Help!
A Hard Day's Night
With The Beatles
Please Please Me

Cosmo's Factory
Green River
Willy And The Poorboys
Bayou Country
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Pendulum
Mardi Gras

Yeah, I only plan to do it for bands I've heard every album from, which means that the only one left is Slayer. That one will be very difficult, so I have to give it some thought first.

Let It Be
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Revolver
Magical Mystery Tour
Rubber Soul
Please Please Me
Help!
A Hard Day's Night
Beatles For Sale

What part of the song was it sampled from? I am guessing the lighter section from 1:39 to 3:35, largely because the rest of the song is too good to be sampled. Wink

I saw Ra Ra Riot in Brooklyn on Friday night. Great band... and the cellist has to be one of the hottest women I've ever seen in person.

Do you like The Hated? I think you said you liked Husker Du, so you probably would.
