I'm interested in knowing if those of you who have listened to a lot of music have one song that really stands above the rest. I admit that I don't have nearly as much experience listening to music as I would like, but the greatest rock song in my musical library would be this:

Television - Marquee Moon

Good two year Music combo.

Last year we had:

Overkill's The Electric Age
Testament's Dark Roots of the Earth
Manowar's The Lord of Steel
Kreator's Phantom Antichrist
Talor Swift's Red

This year we have:

Megadeth's Super Collider
The Band Perry's Pioneer
Amon Amarth's new album

and probably more I can't think of right now.

Also, what about Rush's new record?

I normally don't like Rush and I really don't know why, somehow they aggrevate me without really knowing why.

And there are other country albums that came out that were great too, couldn't really think of them offhand. I've been listening to more metal lately then country.

^ They really need to do a North American tour this summer. Or headline a major music festival like Lollapalooza or Electric Daisy Carnival or Bonnaroo next year.

This is very reminiscent of early Phoenix, which makes sense I guess since they were once the same band.

I've been listening to the newish Tegan and Sara album a lot the last few days. They might have sold out with this album or whatever, but I'll never not appreciate a good pop record.

Awesome piano intro, well done.

The vocals are amazing, clean and unclean. All around pretty heavy. Reminds me of like As I Lay Dying or Chelsea Grin. Will definitely stay tuned.

Thanks a lot, dawg. The other songs haven't been put on youtube so as to avoid copying of it and thus decreasing the market value of our recordings. However, they're available on our facebook page, "Through the Eye of Horus".

I don't really feel like creating another thread for this, so I'll just ask it here.  Do any of you think there's a good reason to buy or listen to vinyl records?  I know a lot of people think they sound better, but I've tried to compare it to digital, and I can't do it.  So if it doesn't sound better, then is there really any point in spending more money on that than you could for a digital download?
