BRTD, what's the next best Modest Mouse album after The Moon & Antarctica?

(This question is open to anyone, I just assumed BRTD would have an opinion Tongue )
Lonesome Crowded West is better. You'd love This Is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing to Think About.

So anyone who likes Pavement, what do you think of these guys? http://www.myspace.com/cymbalseatguitars

I saw them last night with The Thermals. I didn't quite think Pavement when seeing them but just listen to them now, wow.
You're a good man for jocking this band.

High Violet has officially converted me to a fan of The National. Unbelievably awesome record.
Boxer > High Violet

Good to see some love for the National here.

New Sufjan Stevens is surprisingly good.

Like those 25 minute songs, eh?

I'm going to see him in November. I hope he at least does some of the classic stuff.
The 25 minute song rules!

Lucky, I hear he's really good live.

My most played track is "The Headmaster Ritual" by the Smiths (35 times) because I forgot to press pause on my iPod when I had it set to repeat so it just played Meat Is Murder over and over again for one day. Tongue

I'm going to a lot of concerts in the next few days.

Thursday - Yeasayer
Monday - Sufjan Stevens
Tuesday - Bob Dylan

It'll be the second time I've seen Yeasayer and probably like the fifth time I've seen Dylan... first time seeing Sufjan though.
How is Bob Dylan live?

You'll love it, there are so many 60s/70s influences in it. It's a complete 180 from the Creek Drank the Cradle.

Sasquatch! has a pretty cool lineup but I don't think I'm gonna be going all the way to Washington State.

It's a pretty cool venue.

Does anyone here like Odd Future? They're apparently the Hot New Thing, but I haven't really been seeing the appeal. Mind you, I'm only tangentially aware of them courtesy of that time Steve Albini was on the same airport shuttle with hilarious results.

Yeah, I was a big fan of them last year but I've grown annoyed with the hype and how they've become popular among the crowd I hate the most so I can't really consider myself a fan even if I enjoy the music and lyrical schemes.

What is the Atlas forum consensus on Lana Del Rey? lol.

She either needs to show us her tits or vanish from the music scene forever.
